Commander William "JR" Myers

  
JR came to the Holyoke Police Department in April 2020 after serving as the Undersheriff with the Phillips County Sheriff's Office. He possesses a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration with over 19 years of law enforcement experience. JR is also a combat veteran of the US Army serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. JR will serve as patrol supervisor and will assume various administrative duties in support of the Chief of Police.





Corporal Kory Peterson

   Kory came to the Holyoke Police Department in September 2022 after serving as a Sheriff’s Deputy with the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office. Kory has 9 years of law enforcement experience with The Morrison Police Department. While with the Morrison Police Department, he spent his last 2 years on the Motorcycle Unit. He is also a Marine who served two tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Kory will share patrol supervisor responsibilities with Commander Myers.




Chaplain Dan Kafka

Dan earned a degree in Biblical Studies from Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, TX. Dan works full time as a Chaplain with the Colorado Department of Corrections at the Sterling Correctional Facility.  Dan is the pastor at the Holyoke Church of Christ. Dan hopes to bring his experience in CDOC to Holyoke Police Department by serving the people of Holyoke with respect, honoring the authority God has placed in law enforcement, giving all the glory to the One who gives meaning to life.
